It's nice to hear you're specifically looking at this. Good luck with it, and be brave.

I dont think either of these are used in serious PvP any more.

dont get your hopes up people, it's only going to be a 4-5 month span between skill updates
expect a half-assed fix of a few farming builds, and completely insignificant changes elsewhere

Huh, looks kinda good. Im going to have to get my final few runs through dungeons before this comes into play.
Still, im looking forward to these changes - particularly tactics and hammer mastery.

No skill update this month.
Why am I not surprised? Seriously, the chances of me buying GW2 are getting lower and lower.

So the basic message to be gleaned from this is:
"DW everyone with stacks of ecto and goodies, we're looking after your interests, after the nerfs, you can expect your net worth to rise tenfold, and to those have nots, BUAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA!!!!!"
An RPG without farming is as logical as an FPS without guns. Seriously..

I often ask people what the definition of skill is supposed to be and what sort of button press constitutes skill? We all should know that once you are settling in to farm anything by having a combination of skills outsmarting all enemy offense and defense, the rest is always a regular series of buttons being punched in the same order.
However, I never get an answer laying down the law of this "skillful play". If you replay dungeons over and over, then you will always have the same button presses and of course any regular human can learn that. That does not lessen it one bit. The only alternative would be random button presses in reaction to what the game says. Would you rather farm like this?

Where are you getting your highly suspect numbers from? Most farmers these days are like farmers since RPG's began.
"I would much rather not search for a party for an hour so I can grind for 2-3 hours, and waste at the least, some dp removers, at worst, 8k or more worth of cons, to be rewarded with less $ than I'd get in a vanq, or better still, for 2 diamonds/onyx."
Your point is as pointless as most of the other narrow mindset-types around this place..

I'd like to buy skill balance from GW store. It's why I bought game, why I liked playing it, and why I didn't have it even installed for a long time lately.

That , if they buff bonuses and lower some recharges and/or adren skills usage.... wooouuuu it would be awesome.
Waiting to see the Tactics buff ofc , hope they tie some of them to STR to avoid Mo/W abuse.

There should be a swarm of incubi migrating from one continent to another in random order, settling in specific explorable areas where a lot(a LOT) of enchanting is going on and certain skills are used excessively.
Trap farming? Too much trap laying parches the ground, which takes traps twice as long to set and gives them a 33% chance of not activating.
Any ideas for stance farming and spirit farming?
